Andrew Ranson
Mr. Ranson, who joined Giant Partners in 2006, has over 10 years of strategic growth experience, both nationally and internationally.
After graduating magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in Chinese Language and Culture, he did import-export in the metals industry where he experienced the subtleties of doing business with the Chinese.
He learned the business of strategy consulting as an associate consultant with The Boston Consulting Group in Hong Kong where a global cement company, a U.S. medical equipment manufacturer and a petroleum producer were his primary clients. Later, he served in BCG’s New York office.
Next he helped to develop a strategic “front-end” process for aabalone[red], a high-end marketing communications company serving the investment management community. He executed the strategy process and was project manager on several key accounts for “aared.”
In addition to strategy work, Mr. Ranson is also an accomplished operatic tenor. Highlights have included leading roles with Light Opera Oklahoma (LOOK), and extended contracts with San Diego Opera, Opera Colorado and the Pine Mountain Music Festival. This December, he will be the tenor soloist in Handel’s Messiah, with the Canterbury Choral Society of Oklahoma City.
Mr. Ranson now lives in Stillwater, Oklahoma with his wife, Trish and their two children Will (6) and Jenna (4). |
